We’re not a food bank or a warehouse. We’re a connector. A catalyst. A community of partners who believe that good food should never go to waste—and that everyone deserves access to nourishment that uplifts and sustains.

What Do We Do?

We collect surplus, high-quality food from farms, suppliers, and retailers across London. Then we redistribute that food to frontline organizations—meal programs, shelters, community centres, Indigenous organizations, and more—who turn it into nourishment for thousands.

At our heart, we’re about more than logistics—we’re about possibility. We help turn surplus into solutions, food into dignity, and hard times into moments of care, connection, and creativity.

How Do We Help?

The London Food Coalition ensures good food reaches those who need it most—without barriers, judgment, or waste.

Each week, we recover high-quality surplus food from farms, wholesalers, and retailers. This food is sorted and distributed to frontline organizations across London, including shelters, community centres, Indigenous agencies, and school programs.

We don’t just move food—we support the people who turn it into nourishment. By managing logistics and sourcing, we let our partners focus on caring for their communities through meals, groceries, and connection.

Together, we reduce food waste, ease pressure on emergency food services, and strengthen local networks—helping build a healthier, more connected, and sustainable London.
